About Us
Albert Facey Motor Inn is a cosy, family-owned and operated 4-star motel, offering a welcoming stay and the very best in accommodation and dining in the region. Located less than two hours from Perth, it’s the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway, work trip, or overnight stop.
Nestled beside the Narrogin Caravan Park and directly opposite Foxes Lair Nature Reserve—a stunning 25-hectare expanse of native bushland rich with wildflowers and birdlife—the motel offers the perfect blend of comfort and nature. Just a short 10-minute walk takes you into Narrogin’s town centre, where you’ll find charming cafés, gift stores, and local artisan shops.
Guests can enjoy a diverse restaurant menu and a fully licensed bar, ideal for unwinding after a day of travel or work. Cool off in our refreshing swimming pool during the warmer months, or take a peaceful walk through the nearby bush trails to discover the beauty of the reserve.
The motel is proudly named after Albert Facey, the celebrated author of A Fortunate Life. Born in 1894, Facey spent his early years in the Kalgoorlie Goldfields and the Wheatbelt, facing many challenges yet leading a life full of meaning. His handwritten memoir, later published in 1981 at his family’s encouragement, has since become a beloved Australian classic.
At Albert Facey Motor Inn, we invite you to relax, explore, and experience genuine country hospitality.
